Jelly Roll Weekender: HexiCookies Pattern
I just love this pattern, it looks great in any fabric style, whether you love vintage prints, cottage florals, farmhouse favorites, country calicos, or even modern prints or beautiful batiks. With our tips and tricks, you will have perfect hexis using only jelly rolls!

To be fair, you 'CAN' get this quilt made in a weekend 'IF' you send your kids to grandma's and your husband out hunting or camping for the weekend. You will have to start at 9am Friday morning to finish by 9pm Sunday night, but just put the phone on silent, plug in your favorite Jane Austin movies and treat yourself to a quilty weekend! There is no time to waste, but it will be worth it once you have a quilt full of HexiCookies!

In this video you will get step by step instructions along with some tips and tricks to make your weekender quilt a success! This vintage looking pattern is from CarrieAlongQuilts and we are using the KITTY LOVES CANDY Collection by Lori Woods for Poppie Cotton.

The pattern builds a large throw at approximately 60" x 64". We have added an optional border that turned out adorable, and made our quilt top measure approximately 64" x 68". It frames the HexiCookies beautifully and helps to prevent the bias edges from stretching out of shape. The pattern is coming soon.
