Getting myself on one of Jet2's classic 737300's has been on my to do list for quite some time now, as are many things! However while browsing their website I saw this flight, which was the last flight of the season to Palma until next Spring. The flight was only £21. So I checked the configuration and saw it was booked for one of these 737300's and thought why not! So off I went for a day out to Palma. The flight, unsurprisingly was absolutely dead. Only 20 passengers on the entire aircraft. But being the last flight of the year from Palma back to Leeds Bradford, I'd imagine the return leg would have been much busier. A grey dull start at LBA and a long wall, outside but under a covered walkway to the other end of the apron where out aircraft was parked. Once on our way and above the gloomy morning clouds we were greeted by a beautiful sunrise. A few shots of other traffic and a little look around the inside and views from other seating positions around the aircraft. There were a few bumps of turbulence, particularly during the second half of the flight. During the descent and approach some beautiful views of the coast around the island and some of the hills before beginning our final approach into a very blustery Palma De Mallorca Airport. At times you can really notice the wing against the horizon line as we battle the gusty winds during the approach.
