Jack Letts, known as "Jihadi Jack", has learned he has been stripped of his British citizenship in an exclusive interview with ITV News and admitted it comes as no surprise.
The detained Isis fighter, who held dual UKCanadian citizenship, said he was expecting the British government's decision and, after twoandahalf years in a Kurdish prison, retains only faint hope of Canada taking him in.
Letts, 24, appeared lightly bearded in a white Tshirt and with scratches on his forehead, which the YPG forces holding him said were the result of mosquito bites.
