A permanent fix for JOBY PodZilla legs

the fatigue in the top part of the leg housing causes the aluminium flex shaft to eventually snap off

using

2mm drill bit drill into snapped housing until the aluminium flex shaft spins out

expose the rubber boot on the broken leg by the amount stuck in the leg housing and with a sharp knife cut the boot to that length

M6 x 1.0 tap the thread on the leg

M6 x 1.0 male tap the internal hole on the leg housing

A dab of super glue on the leg thread and cut the boot to suit the leg and dab glue on this before screwing the leg into the leg housing

Done a nice sturdy JOBY PodZilla once more!

Albeit marginally shorter in which ever leg/s you've had to fix
