Joe Biden has said the historic ruling that former presidents have immunity violates the principle that "there are no kings in America" and means the commanderinchief can now "ignore the law".

Mr Biden warned a US Supreme Court ruling that gave his predecessor and opponent Donald Trump, a partial immunity from criminal prosecution is setting a "dangerous precedent", and is a "terrible disservice" to Americans.
