Joe Bonamassa is back at Gibson Gear Guide and here, he's showcasing two new signature models: the new Epiphone Joe Bonamassa 1955 Les Paul Standard and the soontobereleased Gibson Custom Joe Bonamassa “Amos” 1958 Flying V Collector’s Edition.

Watch as Joe sits and jams with Gibson Gear Guide host Dinesh Lekhraj and shows you these incredible guitars, including the Epiphone Les Paul with it’s unique Copper Iridescent finish. You’ll hear the story of how that rare finish was replicated, and the incredible tale of the forthcoming Gibson Custom Flying V, based on the original 1958 instrument that featured in the movie, This Is Spinal Tap. As Joe says himself, “I don't collect guitars, I collect stories. And this is one hell of a story…”

In addition, Joe talks more about his love for P90 pickups and how they’ve become a favorite pickup among Gibson and Epiphone guitar enthusiasts. Watch as he shows you how to dial in an amplifier’s sweet spot and make any electric guitar amp sound good, hear his opinions on wattage and volume, and hear Joe play in the style of blues legends such as Albert King and Stevie Ray Vaughan. As a bonus, Joe Bonamassa also gives us a masterclass on how to get that iconic Creamera Eric Clapton “woman tone” on a Les Paul.

Two new guitar announcements in one day, blues guitar tips, tutorials on how to dial in an amplifier… and lessons on how to sound like Eric Clapton, Albert King, and Stevie Ray Vaughan all rolled into one video. Could this be the coolest Joe Bonamassa interview ever?
