The Beatles John Lennon in a great interview about the album he did with Yoko Ono—Double Fantasy. It was recorded on 8/12/1980–around 12 hours before a lunatic took him from the world. I remember the shock of that day as a kid and it's stayed with me ever since. I was a massive Beatle fan from an early age and I often wonder what great work Lennon would have come up with had it not been for that evening back in 1980.
