John MacArthur on Romans 7 Q&A "Why we are in a fight against sin."

What I’ve learnt from Brother John is he never preach we have license to sin neither did he suggest so in this video clip.

We have to face the truth. We are in this fight.

I was applying scripture this way' Loving God's law under the law and loving God's law under grace. The fight is the same for both Old Testament and New Testament believers but under grace it is better. Will not elaborate on it now. So one must be hypocritical to state you not in the fight against sin.
As much as this John 8:7 refers to sinners it also applies to Christians who think they are perfect
John 8:7
So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”
John 8:7 Speaks of sinner against sinner but also applies to Christian against Christian
1 John 1 verse
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a LIAR, and His word is not in us.

John 8:7 Is also for Christians lying hypocrites sindeniers because the verse goes to both Christian and Sinner

2 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 
2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

The moral of the story is Flee from sin which war against your soul
