true.

In fact, I’ve done recording sessions with a couple of John Mayer’s bandmates and they all agree. John is a phenomenal guitar player and musician.

Today I want to share with you a bluesy groove he played in 2010 at the Crossroads Guitar Festival. He’s backed by two legends Steve Jordan on drums, and Pino Palladino on bass.

And while this song isn’t considered a traditional blues. (It’s not old enough) In 2024, I’d consider it a mustknow blues jam.
