This video documents the first leg of my Southbound thru Hike of the John Muir Trail from mile 0 at the Happy Isles Trailhead in Yosemite Valley to the edge of Yosemite National Park at Donahue Pass, and down to the beautiful Thousand Island Lake. This video also includes a hike of half dome where we were blessed beyond measure to have the summit to ourselvesand on the 4th of July of all days.
