John is an established translational researcher whose work is recognized worldwide, and is Project Coordinator and Lead Investigator of the FPRF research project “Mapping Towards a Cure: Identification of Neurophysiologic Signatures of Trigeminal Pain.” He and his team are using stateoftheart magnetic scanners to locate where exactly in the brains of human and animal TN sufferers the pain is recognized. John is also a CoLead Investigator with Dr. Cory Nicholas of Neurona Inc. on the FPRF research project “Evaluation of a Cellular Therapeutic for the Treatment of Trigeminal Pain.” This project is designed to test whether the Neurona interneuron cell therapy can stop neuropathic facial pain in animals. When successful, it will be tested for human use.
