John R. Audette is a longtime scholar of spiritually transformative experiences (STEs). He is the principal founder of the International Association for NearDeath Studies, or IANDS, and he now serves as President and CEO of Eternea, which he cofounded with Dr. Eben Alexander and the late Dr. Edgar Mitchell, the Apollo 14 astronaut, who was the sixth man to walk on the moon.
