Ever heard of the Fletcher Defender? You’re not alone, this was a tiny warbird that could rain terror on its enemies below. Sadly, it was not to be, but its persistent and stubborn designer kept on working on new aircraft designs, until finally conceiving one of the most popular aircraft ever built.
