NGC 4889 is a giant spherical elliptical galaxy, home to 10 trillion stars.

The galaxy is located in the constellation Cabeleira de Berenice, approximately 350 million lightyears away from Earth.

Its diameter reaches 1.3 million light years, more than 10 times larger than the Milky Way. There are three basic types of galaxies and unlike the organized orbit of spiral galaxies, the stars of elliptical galaxies have random orbits.

Its gravity is so powerful that in addition to holding several galaxies and trillions of galaxies around it, NGC 4889 also holds more than 15,000 globular clusters.

Its central black hole is a supermassive type, the largest that exists, and is around 20 billion times the mass of the Sun, 5,000 times more than the black hole at the center of the Milky Way.
