After arriving to the Big Island of Hawaii from Maui, we checked in to our Airbnb and decided to make the trek up to the summit of Mauna Kea...Hawaii's tallest volcano mountain where it actually snows! It is also widely known as being the Earth's tallest mountain from its base deep in the Pacific up to an above ground elevation of 13,803'. The total height is a whopping 33,500 feet which would indeed make it higher than Mt. Everest. Hope you guys enjoy!
