JT3D sounds | FACh Boeing KC-135E Stratotanker (983) takeoff at Santiago de Chile Airport (SCL/SCEL)

First time seeing the venerable KC135E of the Fuerza Aérea de Chile (Chilean Air Force) in such crisp action since February 2019, despite being a plane that's based here. Part of it is that it was on maintenance in the state of Georgia for a while, easily more than a year.

Turn the volume up as you hear the nice spool up of the classic TF33 / JT3D engine sounds, from this loyal 63 year old aircraft.
