' Matthew 8:1822

The Gospel of Matthew emphasizes the realities of being disciples of Jesus. Here, we can see the importance of being soaked in God's presence and word when it comes to discipleship. How can we disciple other people and be His disciples if we don't spend time with Him? There is a call for us to be ready to answer His call to follow Him at any time. True disciples of Christ are always ready to take on His mission with our full commitment to Him and His kingdom's cause. Today's Gospel also asks us to reflect on ourselves and think about what's holding us back from fully embracing Him and our dedication for a true discipleship with Him.
