Gracie was acting broodie for a couple days and wouldn't leave the old coop nesting area. I carefully moved her and her 2 eggs to the new coop, gave her 2 more, and she has been nesting since the 4th of July. Chicken eggs take about 21 days to hatch. Sometime around July 25 or 26 the chicks will hatch. I decided to let the other chickens be around her, leave the coop door open during the day, since it's a difficult process reintroducing a hen back into the flock after being separated. They curiously visit her and leave. I'm hoping at least 2 will hatch!
