Good evening all!
Feeling a bit jaded after a busy few days. Was able to do some bits and pieces which was great. Whilst heading home from a small food shop, I thought it might be helpful to chat a bit about diet and CFS and how I've found this whole topic over the past year.
I talk about the British Dietetic Association guidance on diet and CFS and have included the link below:

I also mentioned the FODMAP diet I find helpful when I get a flare up of IBS. It doesn't help with my CFS but it does the IBS. Again a link is below and includes a video about IBS and introduces the low FODMAP diet:

In terms of how diet impacts my adventures, I'd say apart from the obvious energy and activity balance; I'm also learning about how dietary intake impacts my ability to self regulate temperature. This is especially important for my wild camps and day trips in the mountains/open moorland. I'm sure I'll include all this in a dedicated video over the coming months.
Wishing you all a pleasant evening, and see you tomorrow!
