How to train the soleus muscle to get it back online so it can help to unload the anterior knee in jumping, landing, and changing direction. The David Grey foam roller bridge gets the soleus (and gastroc) to cocontract with the hamstrings, stabilizing the knee.

If you have a patellar tendinopathy, your soleus is probably shut down. Try this to get it back and to relieve patellar tendon pain.
