Junko Ishihara made her debut as a singer from CBS Sony in October 21, 1988. 2023 is her debut 35th anniversary year. As her new challenge, Junko Ishikawa released "Tadasobaniitekurete" written and composed by singersongwriter Toko Furuuchi, and selfcover of her song "Yokan" which was originally released 28 years ago. This new single "Gotoutsubaki" is an enka song about happiness, which is a type of music that Junko Ishihara is best at.
After building her career, she is now more expressive in singing the enka love song.
The setting of the song is the Gotou Islands in Nagasaki Prefecture. It illustrates the beauty and tenderness of the Gotou Islands and the red camellia flowers that connect the bond of love.
