Pinkies should be used only sparingly, if at all. Savannah monitor in the wild eat invertebrates (mostly millipedes) almost exclusively, and care should be taken to stay as close to that diet as possible. My goal here was to see if she would show a preference for her 'natural' diet.
I'm thinking that I might have better luck with live bugs, rather than F/T. The only problem being, that it is harder to draw any kind of conclusion about this experiment, when one prey item can move away, and the other cannot.
