In this video, we have tried to explain the jurisdiction of the Civil Court. The court's juridiction is of two types, the first of which is on economic grounds. We have to evaluate the case while filing and then it is decided on the basis of the assessment of which level the court will file in the matter i.e. the jurisdiction is decided on the basis of the valuation of the case. The provisions regarding the jurisdiction of the court are given in sections 15 to 20 of the Civil Procedure Code.

If the case is related to a fixed asset, then in general case is filed in the court of the same place where the property is situated, if the property comes under the jurisdiction of more than one court, the case can be filed in any one court and Where the jurisdiction of the court is not clear or there is doubt about it, the case can be filed in any court by writing down the status of the uncertainity. If the case is about immovable property or for compensation, it can be filed either at the place where the cause was made to do the case or where the opposing party resides or does business.
