Episode 50 The Cramp Twins
When overweight Randall asks Wendy to the Love Bug Day dance, Wendy laughs and makes fun of him. Lucien goes to apologise to him and ends up trying to help him lose weight, in spite of the fact that Randall claims to be happy just the way he is. Lucien tries to get Wayne to show a little empathy by thinking about what it might feel like to be fat, but only gets Wayne to conclude that Wendy wouldn’t like him. Wayne goes on an all out dessertsonly diet to try to get fat. When that doesn’t work Lucien offers to knit him a ‘fat suit’ just to teach him a lesson. Wendy is disgusted and Wayne is delighted until Mrs. Cramp insists he join Lucien’s training program with Randall. To make matters worse Wendy realises she loves Wayne whatever size he is. Wayne rips open the fat suit to show her how he lied to her, but Wendy only sees how muscley he’s become from carrying all that sweaty wool around. Wayne is trapped in the fat suit and Wendy rolls him away for a love bug date. Randall gives up exercise and goes back to dessert. Randall and Tony tell Lucien that he’s prejudiced and in denial.
