We just got news that the Sondors Metacycle first round bikes are officially IN Long Beach.
While this sounds like good news, I’m here to provide a… levelheaded take on this new information, and dissect it into what I think may be YET another ambiguous ploy on words to extend owners’ patience.

Okay, the Sondors Metacycle has been anticipated since early 2021, pushed to Q3 2021, and eventually to June 2022, and on to a date that’s now hanging in the void. Pun intended.

Communication has been everything except forthcoming from Sondors, the founding company, and owners’ patience thresholds have been tested to say the least.

Well after that incident, and the following messages I received from a higher profile employee within the company (name burred out for obvious reasons) Sondors FINALLY posted a couple editorial photos on the SAME DAY I released that infamous video, almost as though my visit, and access to true information, FINALL got their attention.

Well Hurrah!

But we have a problem at hand though.

Sondors just published a new email to owners TODAY, stating that the first round Metacycles are NOW in LONG BEACH! But their choice of words, and photos leave a whole lot to debate over. AND there’s a correlation with the posts they made two week ago after a long and tedious period of silence during which they lost a whole lot of money due to refunds; a portion of which were proudly publicized online by former owners.

Okay, here’s what I mean; follow me real quick down this tangent…

Two weeks ago, Sondors posts photos of test rides or what looks more like a recent photo shoot of the first “ROUND” of 3 Metacycles, the original Supernassive, Arctic and the “still called” Naked silver Metacycles. The same ones we’ve seen for SEVERAL months.

And, “this is important to note”, Storm Sondors IS in those photos. That’s the guy in black with the Shoei helmet on, on the staple silver Meta.

In the email we just got today we see NOT 2000, NOT 1000, NOT 500, NOT 50… NOT 5… but the SAME, OLD silver painted Metacycle, and this is proof, WITH the concepts mismatched black battery pack powering it for the past year or more.
And in the link provided in the email, following it takes us to a dedicated page dubbed the Metacycle Experience, where the same three OG Metacycles are captured and postedited,
, coursing through what’s advertised as Long Beach in California.
And note this, JUST like in the photos and video from weeks ago, Sondors IS on the same bike. With the same outfit on.

And last clue before my thoughts on this;
The last time there were substantial updates worth posting, was when the Metacycles were finally pré assemblée all the way back in China.

There were more than just 3, the colors were uniform with the batteries, the photos were raw and rugged, only embellished by the transparency of the fact that they were finally assembled and ready to make their way to the US.

So, Following the prolonged time of no communication from Sondors about the Metacycle, the surge in cancellations from former believers in the project, and diffusion of accurate information contradicting canned statements from Sondors reps over the phone, Sondors resorted to getting back into the scene by planning an impromptu photoshoot in direct and immediate response, to ease expecting owners of their growing confusion and impatience, finally pushing out communication via social media two weeks ago, and email this week.
Unfortunately, the social media posts were not helpful to the true issue of what the true status of things is with the Metacycle delivery process, and the email is even worse, showcasing a trip to Long Beach on the old Metacycles used in the press since 2021 while leaving the headline of the email ambiguous enough to have two possible meanings:
1 The first round of Metacycle orders are in Long Beach (not portrayed in the email at all)
2 The first round of 3 OG Metacycles (apart from the phasedout color sitting at the Museum) are cruising in Long Beach, (which it very much looks like.

Second part of the message says (which means you are that much closer to experiencing this, as in, referring to the video of them enjoying a peaceful cruise along the shoreline.

What this email and the last set of photos and videos, JUST like all other forms of communication they scarcely pushed out, fail to do, is to answer this simple question: (How much closer???)
