I have exclusive footage of Sondors Staff revealing the truth about the Metacycle shipping in July. A lot of news that may be shocking to hear. And with proof.

I was chanced to have a very revealing conversation with someone at Sondors that I won’t disclose the name of for obvious reasons.

After being strangely invited into the warehouse by the workers outside, I was told by that specific staff on the inside that no customer is actually allowed in the area. So, out of courtesy and respect to that personnel, I’ll heed to his request not to show any of the elements on grounds that I saw. So I won’t be airing his voice either, but I will summarize everything I gathered from the conversation we had as this video progresses.

1 Metacycles are not yet here in Commerce CA contrary to confirmation over the phone that some callers received, with recordings or screenshots to prove.
He did mention further along in the conversation that they’re in the US though, just not here in Commerce CA. With little more to willfully want to disclose on the matter.
So my thoughts on the situation at hand is that if they are in CA, but not in this building ready to ship out to its waiting owners, then they have got to still be on a dock, as with thousands of other products, still on the ships, held back for a while until they can be recuperated by their respective expecting companies.

2 Apparently, the Commerce location is actually acting more as a fulfillment center than an office building. It’s one of those typical warehouses, sporting a small office front.
What’s more, as from what I’m gathering from the workers I met, offloading packages from the truck docked outside, this warehouse is not exactly exclusive to Sondors. As I understand from this portion of my conversation with them, this building appears to be used by more than one company. Sondors is just one of them.

3 As we all know to be true with every company dealing with parts outsourced offshore, the pandemic seriously affected product assembly times, AND, eventually, delivery time windows. This, in turn, upped customer frustration and hurt trust visàvis those affected companies. The logistics staff told me that Sondors was no exception. Again, this is obvious. But I just thought to delve into the subject a bit before moving on, during which I gathered that, for Sondors, they were affected to the extent that getting tires and pedals, and other, small, crucial parts, all combined into a very hard hassle to surmount. That was in big part what delayed preassembly before ultimately shipping to CA. And then the shipping debacles made things even more unbearable for us customers because that was… IS… taking forever as we speak.

He agreed and stated that at the moment, Sondors is keeping it very tight on information for many, quite honestly, good reasons. Coming from a marketing/ advertising background, I understand that controlling the narrative is everything when it comes to releasing a new product or service. But Sondors is doing it wrong by not communicating. Big boys like Tesla communicate difficulties, rising companies like Rivian apologize for wrong moves, and customers are IN THE KNOW. And they continue to support.

4 It was also stated that one fact they were not prepared for, again because of the pandemic is that total orders exceeded their expectations by miles.

5 We have updates on the Supermassive, black color variant of the Metacycle. He told me that they still haven’t quite figured out the finish on the Supermassive Meta, and that it’s still unclear whether we’re looking at a gloss black, matte black, or in between, satin black. I asked if they were keeping the battery pack color that gloss black we’re seeing in some of the now notsorecent publicized photos. To this, he answered that ultimately, the goal is to have the battery pack match the color of the Metacycle.

6 I was also curious, as I’m sure many of you are, about how exactly I’d fit on the Meta. Just to know if a guy my size would look… you know… awkward.
He says this: “A lot of people don’t realize the Metacycle is not a fullsize bike. It’s not on the large side, it’s more like medium size. But he goes on to reassure me that I’ll fit on the Meta. Well. I’m still gonna take delivery. And then I’ll know…
