Lying in between many major civilizations, the Indian Subcontinent has been impacted by many different waves of migration, but just how much East/Southeast Asian cultural, genetic and linguistic influence is in India, or more broadly, the whole of South Asia, including Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh and elsewhere?

Today we're going to be discussing just how "Asian" the inhabitants of South Asia are, meaning how much Eastern Eurasian influence there is among various South Asian groups, how they are influenced and how they got there. East/Southeast Asians are one of the biggest contributions to South Asian culture today despite the massive differences and separations between these two regions, and it certainly manifests itself in very strange and interesting ways.
