This model is based on the ZGMF1017 Ginn, enhanced and painted in Miguel’s custom orange scheme. In the early stages of the first Earth AllianceP.L.A.N.T. War, ZAFT gained dominance in space through its MS superiority but failed in the first Victoria defensive battle on Earth. This led ZAFT to adjust its strategy, including the Serpent Tail operation, and to develop new mobile suits adapted for Earth's atmosphere. However, new mobile suit development required time, so the Highland Design Bureau of P.L.A.N.T., under military directive, initiated a modification plan for the ZGMF1017 Ginn, resulting in this enhanced version. This unit features highprecision components, highthrust thrusters, and enhanced sensors, making its combat performance 20% higher than that of a standard Ginn. In terms of armament, it is similar to the standard Ginn but includes an orange shield marked with Miguel's skull emblem. Miguel piloted this unit with high mobility and hitandrun tactics, earning the nickname "Twilight Bullet." He engaged in a duel with Murasame Haund’s custom Ginn, resulting in a draw. This unit was eventually retrieved for repairs, and Miguel was unable to use it in the assault on the Heliopolis colony, where he was killed in action. After his death, the unit's whereabouts remain unknown.
