After buying land during the pandemic Kyla and Dave first built an outhouse and then a bunky before tackling the main cabin in the summer of 2024. As autumn progresses and the weather turns cold we rush to try and insulate and install a wood stove in our DIY off grid cabin before winter. Having these jobs done would mean we can use the cabin during the winter months if only for short periods. Join us as we try and get things done while still having time for a little fun. Of course this is a sailing channel (haha) so we also get out for one last hooray before the boat is taken out of the water for the winter.
