Almost two months into learning to ride my EUC, I'm working on my last skill on my bucket list: Riding backwards

Skill Development List:

1. Riding the wheel
2. Controlled turning and stopping without wobbles
3. Smooth, effortless, relaxed carving and braking
4. Smooth, effortless, relaxed acceleration and deceleration
5. Finding max safe speed limit of wheel
6. Seated riding, carving, smooth transitioning to standup or sitting
7. Smooth, effortless, relaxed backwards riding

As much as I enjoyed systematically notching off each of my goals, my real focus was to develop comfort and competency with the wheel by becoming more connected and familiar with the wheel.

Becoming "one with" any foreign stimulus/skillset/art is where the techniques ends and the fun begins.

Don't miss the point of your practice, know what it is you're seeking to gain, and never let anything distract you from it.

Truth in Training!

Happy & Safe Holidays to All!
