• Ajwain Seeds
• Cloves
• Cotton Batti
• Ghee
• Castor Oil
• Mustard Oil
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Batti: Mix crushed almonds, ajwain seeds, and cloves with ghee. Shape this mixture into a cotton batti.
2. Set Up the Diyas: Arrange three diyas filled with castor oil, mustard oil, and ghee.
3. Collect the Soot: Place a copper or brass plate over the three diyas. Let the diyas burn for about 2 hours.
4. Harvest the Soot: Once the plate has cooled, scrape off the collected soot. Store this raw black soot in a container without adding any additional ghee.
