Crank up your volume for this simply painted but BEAUTIFULLY SOUNDING 727200 operated by Kalitta Charters II as “Dragster 725.” This old jet used to be painted in the “Air Horse One” livery. If you look and listen very closely around 0:45 you’ll see a spark inside the #2 engine followed by a puff of dark black smoke and a LOUD compressor stall and surge before the 3 JT8Ds’ thunder and crackling takes over.

Shockingly, the compressor stall wasn’t an issue, and this aircraft continued safely to Laredo.
