In this hot summer Monday morning, we start our walk on the Kato Gatzea beach, right in front of the Sikia camping area. The unbelievably clear waters and the enchanting serene atmosphere take our breath away. Locals and tourists alike enjoy this relaxing setting with their families.

As we stroll along the seaside, we see charming country village homes with traditional local architecture on our right and cozy seaside cafes and restaurants on our left, almost touching the water. Some restaurants are closed, reflecting the quietness of a Monday morning.

Midway through our walk, we pass the small fishing harbour/marina of Kato Gatzea, offering great views over the village. We then continue past another small beach where children and their families are playing in the sea, and we conclude our walk at the other end of Kato Gatzea beach, where we see more beautiful country holiday homes.
