I've always wanted to do plein air from my kayak.This was my maiden voyage in my kayak to test my plein air kit . The box I was using is a Guerrilla Painter 6 x 8 box. Everything needed to paint is in the box except for the paper towels,which I kept in a dry bag. The box doesn't hold much, so I used a limited palette of Titanium White, Permanent Blue, Cad. Yellow Pale, and Cad. Red Medium. The weather was about 37 40 degrees with maybe a 10 mi an hour wind. The weights I used to anchor the kayak in the bow and stern were old window sash weights. Please comment if you have some ideas about the anchor technique I'm using....if I can improve it in some way. Please like, share, comment, and subscribe.
