This promo will bring back many memories for those who lived in the Los Angeles area during the 60's and 70's. KCOPTV, channel 13, was one of the great independent stations. You'll once again be soothed by announcer Fred May's voice as he mispronounces a major Japanese car manufacturer's name. Also, there were so many ads for the "Fabulous" Dunes hotel in Las Vegas that I had to go. I have really missed hearing Fred say, "the Fabulous Dunes hotel." Side note: The Dunes was demolished. The Belagio hotel now occupies that land. The main tower used to be where the lake is.
