"Kenavo" ("Goodbye" in breton language) is a famous song written and composed by the french breton singersongwriter, poet and playwright, Théodore Brotel (18681925). He is best known for his popular songs about his native Brittany such as "La Paimpolaise". He will gain popularity during the Great War where he will write many patriotic and military song like "Ma p'tite Mimi" or "Rosalie". This will make him earn the nickname "Bard of the Armies".
