BUTTTT GUESS WHAT I GOT?????? I NEW TABLET!!!!!!!!!! AND THIS IS MY FIRST ANIMATION ON IT!!!!

⭐GENERAL LORE
Licorice, previously named "ExperimentL," was created in a secret lab which he calls his home. The scientist who created him saw him as his child and he was really proud he brought something to life. He is not actually made out of licorice, but just some mysterious, unknown gooey material (that can transmit electricity and that's how Licorice lives? ooo).

About a year after his creation, he begged his "father," aka the scientist, to go outside for the first time, but father said no because it was dangerous out there.
Against his father's wishes, he escaped to explore this strange new world. This was when the police heard roomers about a strange purplyblue creature roaming around the edges of the city, and when the photo of him in the bushes was taken.

Licorice went back home only to get yelled at by his father, but it wrapped up in an emotional forgiveness between the two because Licorice was still learning, he is mentally a child.

Only a few days after, the police showed up at this lab. The scientist knew what was going to happen, so he told Licorice to hide.
The police immediately arrested the scientist for illegal creation/ illegal substances (the gooey material). Licorice was confused and terrified on why these strange people were taking away his father. When the police were taking the scientist out to the car, Licorice escaped the same way he did last time (thru a back door) and saw his father walking with his head down, not struggling or anything. Licorice took this as betrayal, but he desperately wanted to help his father. Unfortunately, he understood that the only way to survive was to run and swore that one day, he will save his father.

⭐IN THE ANIMATION
"I know what is to be stuck inside a home"
Interpret this as "I know what it means/is like to be stuck inside a home." Licorice knew and only knew the lab as his home, but he never considered himself stuck until he saw the world outside the lab.

"You, Play"
This is the scientist telling Licorice to play inside the lab, Licorice accepting. This is also where paws begin to show up between frames. The first one is just a paw pointing to signal "go play."
The second one, however, is a paw being held up to stop (and hide). This was when the police arrived.

"Go, where?"
This is when Licorice sees his father being taken away, questioning where to go.

"Know I'm not in your reach"
I imagined this as the scientist saying this and Licorice remembering it in his head. His father is no longer in his reach.

"All eyes on me"
Now on the news, everyone knew that Licorice existed, all eyes on the one photo of him in the bushes on a wanted poster. However, he is just a runaway at the moment, he ran far away from the city.

Oh and that quick change in the second loop, that is Licorice's fear of being caught (hence the chained collar).
