All but "No god but He," is merely fraught with fraud and deceit


Ye MaaloDoulateDunya, Ye RishtaoPewand
ButaneWehamoGuman, La Ilaha Illallah

This worldly wealth and riches, these ties of blood and relation
All but idols of comprehension, the sole truth: "No god but He"


Khird Huwi Hai ZamanoMakan Ki Zunnari
Na Hai Zaman Na Makan, La Ilaha Illallah

The mind has worn the holy thread of Time and Space like pagans
Time and Space are both illusions "No god but He" the one reality


Ye Naghma FasleGuloLala Ka Nahin Paband
Bahar Ho Ke Khazan, La Ilaha Illallah

This melody is not confined to season of bloom
Be it Autumn or Spring "No god but He" rings till doom


Agarche But Hain Jamat Ki Astinon Mein
Mujhe Hai HukmeAzan, La Ilaha Illallah

Many idols are still concealed in their sleeves by the Faithful Fold,
I am ordained to raise the call "No god but He" and be much bold
