On April 23, 2024, AKF hosted another Kidney Health Coach Collaborative. During this interactive virtual event, Dr. Silas Norman gave an overview of APOL1 Mediated Kidney Disease (AMKD). AKF’s Senior Director of Communications, Nancy Gregory shared how coaches can become APOL1 Aware and use the AMKD Community Toolkit to raise awareness and educate others about the disease.
