Rabbi Gutnick lays out the background of David's origins and his Cinderella status in his family. How he grew from a sweet boy, shepherding the flocks and composing praises to Gd, into the only Jewish leader who was able to provide a time of peace amongst the Jews themselves, and their neighbors.
