King George III of Great Britain and of Ireland and his German wife, Charlotte of MecklenburgStrelitz had a close and loving relationship which resulted in an astonishing 15 Children! George's sons were far too interested in their lovers to contract legal royal marriages and produce legitimate heirs to the throne. Towards the end of King George’s life he didn’t have a single legitimate grandchild, and parliament had to bribe the middle aged princes to finally walk down the aisle. The result was Queen Victoria who had to deal with bad reputations of her wicked uncles for years to come. Let’s meet King George III’s 15 children, beginning with the eldest 3 sons, two of who became Kings.
