Three of Daniel's friends, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, refused. Their loyalty lay with their God, the one who delivered them from slavery. Nebuchadnezzar, enraged, threw them into a fiery furnace, the flames licking at the sky. But as the guards peeked inside, they saw an impossible sight – the three men walked unharmed, a figure beside them like a flickering son of God. Nebuchadnezzar, humbled by this miracle, declared their God the Most High.
