We took a day on the weekend to go hang out with my good friend Doug, who decided that I need a project to sit idle for when I get the 39 out.  just in case the other 39 and the 51 just aren't enough.
Spoiler alert.  I don't fabricate anything in this video.  this is the origin story for a superhero.  The introduction to a new beginning. It was a moment in time, that we had an absolute blast, touring one of the last wreckers around that still has some cool metal in it.
We've got some plans for it.  some are pretty set in stone. some, not so much.  When it slides into the rotation I'm going to do an entire series on the body modifications and repair. All of the work to get it ready to sit onto a frame whether it's a budget oriented 4 banger, or a big block tow truck, or maybe I just pass the cab along to someone who's itching to build their first hot rod, but can't do the metal work. No matter what way it goes, you'll be along for the Ride.
I'm excited to do a truck. And i have always wanted to build a removable hardtop roadster. So this build will check off that box at the very least.
