The next generation of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport fourwheeldrive wagon is due in local showrooms in 2025 – about 12 months after its new Mitsubishi Triton ute sibling, according to production forecast data unearthed by Drive.

Documents seen by Drive indicate the next Mitsubishi Pajero Sport – the first new model in eight years – is due to arrive in overseas Mitsubishi showrooms by the end of 2024 or from early 2025, pending any delays.

This means the nextgeneration Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is due to follow about 12 months after its sibling under the skin, the nextgeneration Mitsubishi Triton ute – which is due to be unveiled this year ahead of Australian showroom arrivals in late 2023 or early 2024.

This timing – based on production forecasts unearthed by Drive – would correlate to Australian showroom arrivals for the nextgeneration Mitsubishi Pajero Sport in 2025.
