Description: Arrival into Amsterdam after a short flight from Zürich, with some dramatic midmorning lighting. Our approach took us north along the coast, flying past the airport before making a few right turns to head south and line up for landing on Runway 18R. It got a bit windy on final approach, but the pilots handled it perfectly and made a very smooth landing. We turned off the runway just past the spotter’s deck, and as is typical when landing on the Polderbaan, it took about 1015 minutes to taxi in to our gate—in fact, it took so long that my camera overheated and stopped recording a minute or two before we reached our parking stand.
