In this video I am knitting my own tote bag using a wool bundle I bought from a craft fair for only £4.99. I really want to go to a wool festival this year and get some really nice hand dyed yarns and natural yearns but I don't currently have any space in my craft drawers for any more wool, so I need to really have a go at clearing my wool stash as much as I possibly can.
This project used a decent amount of wool, although I still have plenty of the greens and browns still to use for other projects. I really love how this tote bag turned out I think the colours really worked together quite well. It was really giving me some Molly Weasley vibes, and when I sewed in the navy star lining it really made the bag complete for me.
It took me about 2 weeks to knit this bag up, with one of those weeks off work, but some of the days I didn't do any knitting at all. Overall it didn't take up too much of my time.
I am going to be doing some more knitting projects throughout 2023 so make sure to check in if you want to see my knitting journey. I am definitely still a beginner but I am determined to improve and make some lovely pieces this year.
