If there's one military rifle that is a must have for any collection, it is the M1 Garand. It was a very innovative rifle for the timeframe leading up to WW2. Being that they are highly sought after, they are very expensive... unless you know where to look. There's a government charted nonprofit organization called The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP). They promote firearms safety and marksmanship. In their stores and on their website, they sell M1 Garands, M1903s, Krags, and a few other military surplus weapons and accessories. The M1s they have are some of the cheapest you can find. There's a catch though... you have to meet their eligibility requirements, which are quite simple. The sad part is, not many people know of the CMP and we continuously see people getting ripped off. This is an informational video to spread awareness of the CMP and the cheap rifles you can get from them.
