साहित्य | Ingredients
घावन रेसिपी | Ghavan Recipe
• मोदक पिठी / तांदळाचे पीठ १ कप | Modak flour / rice flour 1 cup
• दूध १ कप | Milk 1 cup
• पाणी 1.5 2 कप | Water 1.5 2cups
• मीठ १/४ टीस्पून | Salt 1/4tsp

• नारळाचा चव १ कप |Scraped Fresh Coconut 1 cup
• पाणी १/४ कप | Water ¼ cup
घाटल्यासाठी |For ghatale
• पाणी ३ कप | Water 3 cups
• बारीक चिरलेला गूळ १ कप |Chopped jaggery 1 cup
• तांदळाची पिठी २३ टेबलस्पून | Rice flour 23 tbsl
• मीठ १/४ टीस्पून | Salt ¼ tsp
• वेलची पूड १/४ टीस्पून |Cardamom pw ¼ tsp
• सुंठ पूड १/२ टीस्पून | Dry Ginger pw ½ tsp
• भाजलेली खसखस १ टीस्पून | Roasted poppy seeds 1tsp

How to make ghavane recipe | How to make konkani Ghavane Recipe |
• Into a mixing bowl take modak flour, to this add milk gradually and make lumps free batter
• then add water gradually to make very thin mixture
• Mix well & let it sit for 30 mins
• After ½ an hour, mixture is ready to make ghavane 
• Add salt to the batter & mix well
• Brush some oil onto a flat tawa or skillet then turn on the gas flame
• Once tava is med hot, keep the flame to high, mix the ghavane mixture well using a ladle, & pour mixture onto the tava as shown in the video
• then turn the flame to med, after a min apply some oil at the edges & cook for 2 mins
• once you see edges are getting golden color, try to release the edges from the tava & flip
• Roast other side for a few seconds, flip, apply some ghee, fold the ghavan & take it out
• Follow the same process for the remaining batter

How to make coconut milk gulvani recipe | How to make Ghatale
• Into a mixer grinding jar take fresh coconut & some water & grind them together
• Into a sauce pan, add water & jaggery & let the jaggery dissolve & bring the mixture to boil
• When syrup starts to boiling, turn the flame to low
• Into a bowl take rice flour & some water to make rice flour slurry, pour this slurry gradually to boiling syrup & mix well by other hand
• Once done, cook on low flame for 23 mins
• Then add ready coconut paste to the boiling syrup, add cardamom pw, dry ginger pw, & roasted poppy seeds, mix well & cook on low flame for 34 mins
• Once done add salt, cool for a min & turn the flame off.
