The Swedish Family have Kokpunkten Action Bath for ourselves in this vlog that’s made in collaboration with Kokpunkten. We are on site early in the morning before it opens to the public. Västerås is only an hour from Stockholm and we’ve wanted to visit the adventure water park by Lake Mälaren for a long time. Alma and Harry are super excited and want to go in the water slides right away. We pick up rings on the 4th floor and go with them up to the 7th floor where we start with the ride Inside Out. We continue with Boomerang, daddy Axel gets stuck in Double Racer, where the Swedish Championships in water slide are decided. The whole family try the new VRride where you wear VR glasses in the water slide, you can choose between three different worlds; Snow Dragon, Space Aliens and Sky Temple. It is a really cool experience that we absolutely recommend! The whole family rides the Black River together and that water slide is very dark! We head to the outdoor pool and answer Question of the Day, why we swim dressed. Harry and Alma play in the kids area, we swim in the experience pool, Alma climb the climbing wall and the family watches Aqua Cinema. Kokpunkten open to the public at 10 AM and we turn off the vlog camera. We stay at The Steam Hotel which is adjacent to Kokpunkten and we do a housetour of our rooms after the family’s had a rest. Both Kokpunkten and Steam Hotel have been part of Västerås steam power station and the old turbine hall remains. Johan who is the CEO of Kokpunkten shows us the parts that remain, super cool!
