Welcome to my korea vlog! This time, we spent a day discovering Gongju, the capital of the ancient kingdom Baekje and a city of world heritage. Hanoks are literally everywhere in the city! We visited Gongju Hanok Village, the place was beautiful, peaceful and serene. We had the village to ourselves as there wasn't anyone else.

Gongju is famous for its chestnuts so I got chestnut dotorimuk (jelly) for lunch. We also visited Gongsanseong Fortress, an important ancient fortress of Baekje. Walking along the 2.6km fortress wall, you can see the city along the Geumgang River at a glance.

While waiting for the bus back to Sejong, a random 이모 sat beside us and started to chat with us lol. Despite communication barriers, I can feel her friendliness and sincerity. After a while, she left, leaving us alone at the bus stop. Later she surprised us with mango ice cream, a muchneeded treat to beat the heat. 고마워요 이모!
